Cindy competed USTA & NBTA growing up in FL. Some of her past teachers were Shirley Roberts, Jody Youngblood, Barbara Patrick, Linda Adams, Taye Tanya, and camps / clinics throughout SE.

Show Biz Twirlers groups were started in 1983. Cindy taught baton at Flag City School of Dance for 5 1/2 years... the dance class teams were called Show Biz Kids. Before 1983, Cindy's twirlers were called Rhynette Baton Corps. At age 15, Cindy had a group of 30 plus students named Starlette Baton Corps that performed in local parades, shows and midgett league football halftimes.
